Last month I had two unexpected exciting pieces of news in under 24 hours. I still can't share the first yet (another few weeks) but I'm so excited to now be able to share the other :)
I have been asked to join the Tonic Studios design team, designing cards and doing prep for the TV shows on Create & Craft. It's a great privilege and honour to be asked by such a reputable, popular and award winning company and I'm looking forward to working with great new products from Tonic.
Here are a couple of cards I made using one of the Tonic Double Detail Die and Stencil Sets and one of the Chalkboard Die and Stamp Sets.

Here are a couple of cards I made using one of the Tonic Double Detail Die and Stencil Sets and one of the Chalkboard Die and Stamp Sets.
To make this I used Aztec Allium which includes a die and coordinating stencil. I cut the die into pink card (the dies stay in your card) three times and stencilled it using basic household filler (it takes a little while to dry before you can move onto the next section)
Once all three panels were dried I matt and layered onto black card, added some black satin ribbon and then mounted it onto my card base.

For this card I used the main die from the Chalkboard Die and Stamp Set – It’s Your Big Day for the ovals and the stamps from Special Occasion. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed using an opaque white embossing powder. I then inked it all over to make the sentiment 'pop'. I used Tonic Celtic Dreams (circle layering dies) to make a rocker card as my base and added gold satin ribbon to decorate.
