Today I'm sharing another project I made using the new My Moments die collection from Tonic Studios. It was inspired by a Bon Voyage card I made for a couple of friends who were embarking on a trip of a lifetime. These dies would have been perfect for that card, it's great to now have them in my die collection for future projects of this kind 😊
I have another project to share using the new My Moments die collection from Tonic Studios.
For this I took a little notebook and covered it using Craft Perfect Jet Black card. I cut a load of the months of the year using the same card stock and added them to the front of the book to create an embossed look. I added some of the hinges, colouring them with a little gilding wax before attaching to the cover. To finish I added the year but this could also just as easily be a memory book 😊
I’m a little late in posting as yesterday Tonic Studios launched their brand new My Moments die collection. The collection consists of Hinges, Locks, Months and Suffixes. They’re perfect for scrapbooking and cardmaking, as well as for adding embellishments and features to your 3D projects.
The Months and Suffixes are a great addition to your craft stash with 16 dies included (12 months and 4 suffixes), these will be so useful all year round.
For my first project I used one of the months of the year for a baby's name, creating a keepsake using the Index Box die set also from Tonic. I've also used one of the hinges as a backgound/hanger for my panels.
There are more shows over the weekend so be sure to tune in to see demos and some clever inspiration from the DT.
...on your Special Day
Have you see the gorgeous new papers from NitWits? It's called Country Lane and is yet another stunning collection 😍 ❤️
I couldn't wait to have a play, and decided to have some fun with a card made using the digital papers for a change. The elements and papers are stunning as always, with a real country feel, they'll be perfect with kraft card.
Here's what I came up with after a little play. I made it for a special friend so used a sentiment from the beautiful Dearly Beloved Lil Bits collection 😊
I have one last share today made using the fab Tudor Town dies from Tonic Studios. This time I've used the George & Dragon and made it into a church for a wedding card.
The last live show went out this morning but the dies are still available to buy from Hochanda, and you can catch repeat shows to watch demos of how easy and how much fun these buildings are to make 😊
I have another Tudor Town project to share today. I made the Toy Emporium into a cute little beach hut. These dies are so versatile and so much fun.
There are more shows today and tomorrow on Hochanda if you want to tune in and watch demos or to see what the rest of the team have come up with 😊
Ribbons, pearls & paper swirls; just some of the pretty items I like to use to embellish my paper crafts.
I love taking simple materials such as card or paper and transforming them into bespoke three dimensional card art.
